Karnaali Baajaa:
This is an ancient instrument used for playing melodies of the traditional folk music of the Damaai caste of Western Nepal. It is made of copper, is 60cm long and is in the form of a long slender horn, which has been bent back through two complete circular turns in the middle. These days it is much less common but can still be found in use in the District of Kalikot. The Karnaali Baajaa is regarded as a sub-member of the Panchai Baajaa of the Karnaali Zone and during play it is placed in the corner of the mouth. The pitch of the sound can be varied by pressure of the tongue on the mouthpiece.
